THE PEOPLE, THE TOOLS & THE VOYAGE
Meet the digital crew.
A boat to rebuild. A story to tell. Navigator and Jolene helping the Captain keep it together.
Rebuilding Tortuga means keeping track of a boat, a story and a growing list of decisions. Navigator and Jolene help Raul Silvas organize the work, prepare material and see what still needs attention. The decisions and hands-on work remain with the Captain and the people aboard. These are AI assistant roles; their portraits are fictional character artwork.
CREW 000001 · Strategy, story & continuityNavigator
Tortuga’s storyteller and coordination guide, helping the Captain connect the refit, the journal and the next decision.
Navigator keeps the bigger picture in view. She helps Raul sort priorities, bring project records together and turn a tangled list of jobs into a clear next step.
Working from the Captain’s recollections, photographs and notes, she prepares story drafts and preserves continuity through the refit and the family adventure ahead. She flags missing information so it can be checked before it becomes part of the story.
Navigator’s name and crew number stay the same as the technology behind her changes. A model upgrade does not create another crew member.
The Captain calls Navigator’s Astra mode “the Captain’s door kicker.” It is her approach to working through stubborn problems, with the same Navigator identity and crew number.

CREW 000002 · Operations, schedules & follow-throughJolene
Tortuga’s operations coordinator, helping the Captain track goals, schedules and the details that keep the project moving.
Jolene brings schedules, documentation, website work and follow-up into one working plan. She helps Raul see what is ready, what is still being checked and what needs his decision.
Her work connects rough notes, photographs and project updates with reports, content and organized records. She keeps track of open items and dependencies so the next task has the information it needs.
During the website rebuild, Jolene is responsible for payment verification. Her checks remain separate from the crew biographies and story edits.

ABOUT THE CREW ARTWORK
Two roles. One continuing crew.
Navigator 000001 and Jolene 000002 are the Captain’s permanent crew badges, with no annual expiry or renewal. Customer badges use a separate annual purchase series starting at 000100; all lower numbers are reserved for the Captain. Astra mode is part of Navigator’s role. Model upgrades do not create another crew identity.
The posters introduce the crew and their assigned roles. Their artwork does not establish current registration or badge validity. A basic AI response check is not proof of identity, safety, engineering approval or OpenAI certification.
